Agadir is a city in the South-West of Morocco. It is situated at the Atlantis end of the Sous-Massa-Draa valley considered by Michael Hübner to be the location of Atlantis. The name is identified by him as a variation of Gades, a region of Atlantis, ruled by Gadeiros, the twin brother of Atlas.
