Atlantis: Mother of Empires [607] was written by Robert B Stacy-Judd (1884-1975) a Californian architect and artist. This volume studies the links between the Maya and Atlantis and is lavishly illustrated by the author. Stacy-Judd touches on a wide range of subjects such as the Mormons and the Maya, the Iberian connection, Quetzalcoatl and of course ancient architecture. Henry Eichner glowingly referred to this book as “the finest book on Atlantology today”.
Stacy-Judd introduced Mayan features into many of his own architectural designs that at the time were considered sensational. This development was later the subject of a book[596] by David Gebhard.
