An A-Z Guide to the Search for Plato's Atlantis

Andreas Cellarius (1596-1665) was a Dutch-German astronomer, mathematician and cartographer. He produced an impressive star atlas in 1660 and was recognised three centuries later when in 1960 the minor planet Cellarius 12618 was discovered and named after him. He is reputed to have located Atlantis in the Atlantic.
