Eys, Peter van

Peter (Petrus) Van Eys was an 18th century Dutch scholar, who wrote in his 1715 PhD dissertation[1222] on Plato, of the connections he percieved between Moses and the story of Atlantis. This led him to conclude that Atlantis had been situated in the Holy Land, a view popular at that time.
