Bunsen, Christian
Christian Karl Josias von Bunsen (1791-1860) was a Prussian diplomat, in which capcity he was appointed as ambassador to the Holy See in Rome. He was also a co-founder of the German Archaeological Institute in Rome.
The only reference that I can find relating to Bunsen and Atlantis comes from Dean Harris in his Prehistoric Man in America
Christian Bunsen, whose vast erudition constitutes him authority reluctantly admits the narrative of Solon to be authentic and that possibly an Atlantis once existed.
