He also achieved <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Bilau.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-27857 \" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/08\/Bilau.jpg\" alt=\"Bilau\" width=\"190\" height=\"281\" \/><\/a>some fame as the inventor of a more efficient windmill for generating electricity. He, along with millions of others, was apparently seduced by the Nazi regime, but still managed to retain some independence of thought regarding Atlantis.<\/p>\r\n<p>The late <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/beier-bernhard\/\">Bernhard Beier<\/a> wrote a number of articles for <em>Atlantisforschung<\/em> relating to Bilau&#8217;s Atlantis ideas, his attraction to H\u00f6rbiger&#8217;s theories, as well as his political leanings towards National Socialism<sup>(c)<\/sup>.<\/p>\r\n<p>His Atlantis theory incorporated much of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/hoerbiger-hans\/\">Hans H\u00f6rbiger<\/a>\u2019s cosmological ideas. Between 1932 and 1940, he wrote a number of Atlantis-related articles for <em>Schluessel zum Weltgeschen, <\/em>a journal dedicated to H\u00f6biger\u2019s \u2018World Ice\u2019 theory.<\/p>\r\n<p>In his 1935 book (<em>Die Offenbarungen des Johannis &#8211; Ein Mondniederbruch vor 11 400 Jahren&#8221; entnommen<\/em>) (<em>The Revelations of St. John &#8211; A Moon Collapse 11,400 years Ago<\/em> p. 57-61). Bilau endeavoured to support H\u00f6rbiger\u2019s theories with his interpretation of biblical texts, specifically from the <em>Revelations of St John<\/em> and the <em>Book of Daniel<\/em><sup>(a)(b)<\/sup>. A few years later, <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/hans-schindler-bellamy\/\">Hans Bellamy<\/a> described <em>Revelations<\/em> as <em>&#8220;a<\/em> <em>collection of cosmological myths&#8221; <\/em>in <em>The Book of Revelation is History<\/em> <sup>[<\/sup><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/b\/\">097<\/a>]<\/sup>. In it, he also sought to interpret <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/revelation-the-book-of\/\"><em>The Book of Revelation<\/em><\/a> as offering a description of the capture of our <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/moon-the-n\/\">Moon<\/a> and the ensuing catastrophes caused by the event.<\/p>\r\n<p>Bilau\u00a0considered Atlantis to be a large island sitting on the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/mid-atlantic-ridge\/\">Mid-Atlantic Ridge<\/a>, inhabited by late <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/cro-magnon-man\/\">Cro-Magnons<\/a> 11,400 years ago.
