Like<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/lissner-ivar-arthur-nicolai\/\"> Ivar Lissner <\/a>he spent some of his early years in Russia before emigrating to Germany.\u00a0 He is considered to have been one of the leading theorists behind many of the extreme policies of the Nazi Party, in particular its racial ideology. He was later\u00a0tried for war crimes and hanged in 1946.<\/p>\n<p>Rosenberg <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">adopted many of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/steiner-rudolf\/\">Rudolf Steiners<\/a> ideas regarding Atlantis, adding a few colourful touches of his own such as referring<\/span> to a master race of \u2018Aryan-Nordic-Atlanteans\u2019 in Northern Europe. He\u00a0 added that Atlantis had existed where there had once been exposed land between Iceland and <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/greenland\/\">Greenland <\/a>when <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/sea-level-changes\/\">sea levels <\/a>were 100 metres lower.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed much of his warped ideas in a\u00a01930 book <em>The Myth of the Twentieth Century, <\/em>which has been described by <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/godwin-joscelyn\/\">Joscelyn Godwin <\/a>as <em>&#8220;perhaps the dullest book that ever sold a million copies.&#8221;<\/em>In fact the sales of his book were only exceeded by that of Hitler\u2019s <em>Mein Kampf<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>A secondhand copy of the English translation was recently on offer at Amazon.uk for over \u00a3400!
