His first major work, <em>Atlantean Traditions in Ancient Britain<\/em><sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/n-r\/\">728<\/a>]<\/sup><em>, <\/em>deals with what he perceived were vestiges of Atlantean civilisation throughout the British Isles, including the megaliths, ley lines, zodiacs as well as the mythologies of the islands. Roberts saw Atlantis as an Atlantic culture that influenced both sides of that ocean.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&gt;<\/span><\/strong>Roberts was very taken with <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/william-blake\/\">William Blake<\/a>\u2019s poetic view of Atlantis and frequently quoted him.
