After retiring he lived in France, where he wrote and painted. He advocated a <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/north-sea\/\">North Sea<\/a> location for<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/guy-gervis-91-ans-1-e1716878507806.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-61360\" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/guy-gervis-91-ans-1-e1716878507806.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"338\" srcset=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/guy-gervis-91-ans-1-e1716878507806.jpg 591w, https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/guy-gervis-91-ans-1-e1716878507806-300x254.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/a> Atlantis, which he referred to as &#8216;Lacuna&#8217;, following the views of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/deruelle-jean\/\">Jean Deruelle<\/a>.
