With regard to Atlantis he followed the ideas of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/donnelly-ignatius-loyola\/\">Ignatius Donnelly <\/a>and the Theosophist, <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/scott-elliott-william\/\">Scott-Elliot<\/a>, and is sometimes referred to as an occultist. He was also influenced by the work of Abb\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/brasseur-de-bourbourg-charles-etienne\/\">Brasseur de Bourbourg<\/a>.
