Raubenheimer<\/strong> is a retired South African engineer and a member <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/raubenheimer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-27653\" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/raubenheimer.jpg\" alt=\"raubenheimer\" width=\"166\" height=\"252\" \/><\/a>of the South African Archaeological Society. In 2010 he published <em>Survivors of the Great <\/em><em>Tsunami<\/em><sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/n-r\/\"><sup>0744<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup>, in which he links Noah\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/deluge\/\">Deluge<\/a> with the flood, dated at 2193 BC, which is referred to in the controversial <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/the-oera-linda-book\/\"><em>Oera Linda Book<\/em><\/a><em>.<\/em> He suggests that this flood was caused by the impact of the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/asteroids\/\">asteroid<\/a> which created the submarine <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/burckle-crater\/\">Burkle Crater<\/a> in the Indian Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>Raubenheimer touches on the subject of Atlantis, but is reluctant to identify it with the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/atland\/\">Atland <\/a>destroyed in the <em>Oera Linda Book<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Raubenheimer\u2019s defence of the OLB has generated\u00a0considerable support<sup>(a)(b)<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand while there is little doubt that the OLB is also widely believed to be a hoax or a forgery, a contribution to Wikipedia on the subject notes that \u201c<em>The current article mentions several times that the book is a hoax\/parody\/forgery.
