In 1965 she published <em>Origines atlantiques des anciens <em>\u00c9gyptiens<\/em><\/em><sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/w-z\/\">837<\/a>]<\/sup>,<em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/em>which translates into English as <em>Atlantic Origins of the Ancient Egyptians. <\/em>However, the Spanish version had the title of <em>La Atl\u00e1ntida y los Antiguos Egipcios, <\/em>which means <em>Atlantis and the Ancient Egyptians. <\/em>Nevertheless, whichever meaning is correct, the countess clearly claimed that the ancient Egyptians came to the Nile from the west.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Countess Marcelle Weissen-Szumlanska was a 20th century archaeologist and ethnologist who had a particular interest in the prehistory of North Africa.
