In his dissertation<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/richard-llis.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-27211\" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/richard-llis-267x300.jpg\" alt=\"richard llis\" width=\"267\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/strong><sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/e-f\/\"><sup>288<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup>on Atlantis he consigns Plato\u2019s story to the realms of fantasy and he discusses the efforts of both serious investigators such as <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/mavor-james-watt\/\">James Mavor<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/cousteau-jacques-yves\/\">Jacques Cousteau<\/a> and also the ramblings of spiritualists like <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/steiner-rudolf\/\">Rudolf Steiner<\/a>. He concludes that one group is simply misled while the other is misleading.<\/p>\n<p>The greater part of the book is devoted to a discussion of the possible link between the eruption of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/santorini\/\">Santorini<\/a> in the second millennium BC and Atlantis.
