In 2009, he published <em>Sardegna: l&#8217;isola felice di Nausic\u00e0a <\/em><sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/m\/\">1570<\/a>] <\/sup> in which he expanded on his ideas.<\/p>\n<p>Specifically, he identifies the Gulf of Cagliari\u00a0as the location of the Pillars of Heracles<sup>(a) <\/sup> and outlines in detail how the Plain of Campidano to the north and the region generally conforms to Plato\u2019s description of the city of Atlantis.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&gt;<\/span><\/strong>In 2018, Mura published, also in Italian, <em>Tartesso in Sardegna <\/em><sup>[<\/sup><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/m\/\">2068<\/a>]<\/sup><em>, <\/em>the full title of which translates as <em>Tartessos in Sardinia:\u00a0<\/em><em>Reasons, circumstances and methods used by ancient historians and geographers to remove Tartessos (the Tarshish of the Bible) from Caralis and place it in Spanish Andalusia.<\/em> Caralis is an old name for Cagliari, the Sardinian capital.<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&lt;<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><sup> (a) <\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/pierluigimontalbano.blogspot.com\/2017\/07\/archeologia-atlantide-in-sardegna-fu-il.html\">https:\/\/pierluigimontalbano.blogspot.com\/2017\/07\/archeologia-atlantide-in-sardegna-fu-il.html<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Giuseppe Mura (1943- ) is an enthusiastic supporter of the idea of a Sardinian Atlantis, following in the footsteps of Giovanni Lilliu.
