It is referred to in <em>Oahspe \u2013 A New Bible, <\/em>a concoction that was written by John Ballou Newbrough \u00a0produced by \u2018automatic writing\u2019<sup>(b) <\/sup>on a newly invented typewriter. Dr. Henry S. Tanner, famous for fasting for 40 days, was apparently a student of Oahspe and<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/pansubmergedcontinent2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-19164\" title=\"pansubmergedcontinent2\" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/pansubmergedcontinent2-300x182.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/pansubmergedcontinent2-300x182.jpg 300w, https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/pansubmergedcontinent2.jpg 601w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a> claimed that Pan, also known as Whaga,\u00a0was sometimes erroneously called Atlantis. Tanner was also an active Mormon. However, he was not too sharp on details, describing Tristan da Cunha as being in the Pacific South Sea, while in fact it is in the South Atlantic.<\/p>\n<p>The concept of Pan has now been revived by an American linguist and paranormal researcher, Susan B.
