They claim their prediction is based on the writings of the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/maya\/\">Maya<\/a> and the ancient Egyptians, whose ancestors they maintain came from Atlantis<strong>, <\/strong>which now lies beneath the ice of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/antarctica\/\">Antarctica<\/a> following an earlier pole reversal in 9792 BC. Geryl has gone on to write two further books<sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/g\/\"><sup>067<\/sup><\/a><sup>][<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/g\/\"><sup>068<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> on the forthcoming 2012 disasters and in preparation for it, have purchased property in South Africa where they together with a chosen few, had hoped to survive their predicted calamities.<b> <\/b>A few days before Geryl&#8217;s doomsday, he cited diabetes as a reason for not going to South Africa!<sup>(g)<\/sup><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A detailed review of <em>The Orion Prophecy<\/em> was published by Geoff Stray<sup>(h)<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Geryl maintained a website<sup>(<\/sup><sup>a<\/sup><sup>)<\/sup> where he promoted his theories and related books.<\/p>\n<p>The site was entitled &#8216;How to Survive 2012&#8217; and surprise, surprise, a search in February 2013, shows the link to be broken.
