He studied the classical writers and in due course became an archaeologist and a poet. He was also the writer of popular but somewhat controversial books on ancient history and religion.<\/p>\n<p>In collaboration with Luigi Palazzini-Finetti he wrote a book <sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/n-r\/\"><sup>506<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> that envisaged the Atlantis story as an <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/allegory\/\">allegory<\/a> of Eden wrapped in the trappings of the Akkadian Empire of Sargon. He also wrote a related book <sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/n-r\/\"><sup>507<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> about Sargon, the Akkadian ruler, and more recently a work <sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/n-r\/\"><sup>508<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/mandaeans\/\">Mandaeans<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/iraq\/\">Iraq<\/a> who he claims are remnants of the Atlanteans.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, most of his writings and his website<sup>(<\/sup><sup>a<\/sup><sup>)<\/sup> are in Italian only.
