She was formerly a classical singer but eventually her interest in metaphysics took over and she turned to a career in <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/murry-hope.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-61963 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/murry-hope.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"205\" \/><\/a>writing. Her output of some dozens of books covers a wide range of subjects from psychology and science to Ancient Egypt and astrology. In 1991, she published <em>A<\/em><em>tlantis: <\/em><em>M<\/em><em>yth or <\/em><em>R<\/em><em>eality<\/em><strong><sup>[<\/sup><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\"><strong><sup>401<\/sup><\/strong><\/a><strong><sup>]<\/sup><\/strong><em>, <\/em>which was well received although it was fairly standard fare covering the principal Atlantis theories, but it is marred by a high level of speculation and dependence on controversial material such as the<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/the-oera-linda-book\/\"> <em>O<\/em><em>era <\/em><em>L<\/em><em>inda <\/em><em>B<\/em><em>ook <\/em><\/a>and psychic sources<em>.<\/em> Ms. Hope concluded that the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/atlantic-ocean\/\">Atlantic Ocean<\/a> was the most likely location for Plato\u2019s sunken island. In 1957, Hope was co-founder with the healer Tony Neate, of the Atlantean Society, a healing and spiritual awareness centre in the Malvern Hills in England<sup>(a)<\/sup>.
