M."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Lewis Montgomery Hosea (1842-1924)<\/strong> was a leading attorney in Ohio during <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/Hosea.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-22755\" style=\"border: 4px solid black;\" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/Hosea.jpg\" alt=\"Hosea\" width=\"200\" height=\"161\" \/><\/a>the late 19<sup>th<\/sup> century and was later appointed a Superior Court Judge (1903-1909).\u00a0 He also served as chairman of the Ohio Mechanics Institute, Department of Science and Arts and was an editor of the <em>C<\/em><em>incinnati <\/em><em>Q<\/em><em>uarterly <\/em><em>J<\/em><em>ournal of<\/em><em> S<\/em><em>cience<\/em>. In July 1875 he wrote an eighteen-page article<sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\"><sup>405<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> for that Journal in which linked the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/maya\/\">Mayan<\/a> and other early American cultures with Atlantis.
