He has written a book, <em>T<\/em><em>he <\/em><em>E<\/em><em>nd of the <\/em><em>M<\/em><em>ystery<\/em><sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\"><sup>153<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup><em>, <\/em>in which he offers his views on a wide range of subjects including the Holy Grail, the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/sphinx\/\">Sphinx<\/a> and Atlantis. He controversially claims that Atlantis was located on a landmass which included parts of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/greenland\/\">Greenland<\/a>, Iceland and the British Isles, before being moved by some form of tectonic movement, that brought it from the Indian Ocean to its present position over a vast time span<sup>(<\/sup><sup>a<\/sup><sup>)(<\/sup><sup>b<\/sup><sup>)<\/sup>. He tenaciously clings to the idea that the speculative map of Atlantis, published by <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/kircher-fr-athanasius\/\">Athanasius Kircher<\/a>, is a true representation of the outline of Plato\u2019s island.<b> <\/b>He also explains that although Greenland does not match the shape of Kircher&#8217;s island, it is because part of it broke off and became Iceland<span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">.<\/span> <\/strong><\/span>I cannot see how <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/huffman-harry-dale\/\">Huffman<\/a>\u2019s claims can stand up to even the most cursory investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Kircher&#8217;s map clearly places Atlantis between the Strait of Gibraltar and America, not between Canada and Scandinavia.
