Included in her survey are crannogs, which are artificial islands constructed in lakes. She refers to the crannogs of Scotland, ignoring the Irish examples which total around 1,200 or nearly three times the Scottish number.<\/p>\n<p>She devotes a somewhat disproportionate amount of space to an extensive review of Atlantis theories, without offering anything new.
