In 1925, he published his <em>La Veritable Histoire de L\u2019Atlantide<\/em><sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/b\/\"><sup>205<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> in which he expressed the view that Atlantis had been located on a series of sunken islands off <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/tunisia\/\">Tunisia<\/a> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/gabes-gulf-of\/\">Gulf of Gabes<\/a>. The area suggested by him would have included the Maltese Islands, part of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/sicily\/\">Sicily<\/a> and the entire east coast of Tunisia including the islands of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/kerkennah-n\/\">Kerkenna<\/a> and Djerba. <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/arecchi-alberto\/\">Alberto Arecchi<\/a>, among others has recently revived and expanded on this idea. This compiler also agrees with many of Butavand&#8217;s ideas.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/bryant-george-isaac\/\">G.I.
