The first three chapters on offer discuss in great detail the 16<sup>th<\/sup> century maps that are claimed to show an ice-free Antarctica. In the final chapter he argues that Plato\u2019s text could only have been referring to the Americas as the location of Atlantis. He goes further and specifies the Plain of Mesopotamia in northern Argentina as the plain described by Plato, with a landform in the Paran\u00e1 Delta conforming to the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/dimensions-of-atlantis\/\">dimensions<\/a> he gave for the circular city of Atlantis.<\/p>\n<p>Completely unrelated to Atlantis but perhaps even more intriguing is a circular feature in the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/El-Ojo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-31490\" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/El-Ojo-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"el-ojo\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/El-Ojo-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/El-Ojo.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Paran\u00e1 Delta known as &#8216;El Ojo&#8217; (The Eye) which has only recently been discovered. It is a perfectly circular &#8216;lake&#8217; 120 metres across with a floating &#8216;island&#8217; in it which is also perfectly circular.
