He\u00a0told in one of his sermons, <em>A<\/em><em>dversus<\/em><em> G<\/em><em>entes<\/em> (Book I)<sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/a\/\">1347<\/a>]<\/sup>,\u00a0 of the catastrophes <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/Arnobius.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-22807\" style=\"border: 4px solid black;\" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/Arnobius.png\" alt=\"Arnobius\" width=\"176\" height=\"148\" \/><\/a>that have previously destroyed human civilization, that \u201cten thousand years ago, a vast number of men burst forth from the island which is called Atlantis of Neptune, as Plato tells us, and utterly ruined and blotted out countless nations.\u201d Again, the date given by Arnobius, turns out to be around 9700 BC.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/kershaw-stephen-p-n\/\">Stephen P.
