The controversial books<sup>[<\/sup><sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\">274<\/a>][<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\"><sup>275<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/hancock-graham\/\">Graham Hancock<\/a> is perhaps the best known, while others, such as the British anthropologist and Atlantis sceptic, Richard Rudgley<sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/n-r\/\"><sup>606<\/sup><\/a><sup>][<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/n-r\/\">1697<\/a>]<\/sup>, have produced valuable books on mankind\u2019s prehistory. For those that are focused on the enigma of Atlantis they have concentrated on various anomalous discoveries, such as the underwater <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/yonaguni\/\">Yonaguni<\/a> ruins, the age of the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/sphinx\/\">Sphinx<\/a>, the accounts of what appear to be flight and nuclear warfare in ancient <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/india\/\">India<\/a> and the disputed date of the enormous Baalbek megaliths, all in an attempt to demonstrate that powerful civilisations existed during the last Ice Age\u00a0and so add some <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/credibility-and-veracity-of-the-atlantis-story\/\">credibility<\/a> to Plato\u2019s early date for Atlantis.
