Professor Kucich follows the work of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/henriette-mertz\/\">Henriette Mertz <\/a>and is convinced that the ancient Greeks discovered <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/america\/\">America<\/a> and that a local Peruvian language, Chuetsua, is based on classical Greek. In his book,\u00a0<em>Journey to the Mythological Inferno<\/em><sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/m\/\"><sup>400<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> he locates <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/troy\/\">Troy<\/a>\u00a0in America and then equates Atlantis with Troy.\u00a0In 1986 he wrote a paper<sup>(a)<\/sup> that focused on <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/orichalcum\/\">orichalcum<\/a>, which he claimed were mined in the Atlas Mountain that was located in the Peruvian Andes.
