\"Patznick\"<\/a>Jean-Pierre<\/strong> P<\/strong>\u00e4tznick <\/strong>is a French Egyptologist who is due to address a conference in May 2015 with the theme of L’Atlantide et l’\u00c9gypte (Atlantis and Egypt).<\/em> His own paper is entitled Atlantis and the Land of the Pharaohs: Egyptian origin of the myth?<\/em><\/p>\n

I’m given to understand that P\u00e4tznick was influenced by the theories of the late Michael H\u00fcbner<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In August 2020, Thorwald C. Franke<\/a> drew attention to a recent article by P\u00e4znick in the French Egyptological magazine Pharon <\/b><\/em>(No 41)(b)<\/sup>.\u00a0<\/em>Franke has written a review of the article (in English)(a) <\/sup>, expressing overall disapointment with its content.<\/p>\n

P\u00e4znick now appears to favour Spain<\/a> and\/or Morocco<\/a> as the location of Atlantis?<\/p>\n

><\/span><\/strong>In March 2024, P\u00e4tznick’s credibility came under attack by Jason Colavito<\/a> because of his attempt to rehabilitate Paul Schliemann<\/a>, who perpertrated a famous Atlantis hoax in 1912(c)<\/sup>.<<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
