In his 2011 book, <em>The Homer Code<\/em><sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\"><sup>1075<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup><em>, <\/em>he is heavily influenced by <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/vinci-felice\/\">Felice Vinci<\/a>, who situated Homer&#8217;s <em>Odyssey <\/em>in the northern European region. Joramo specifically identifies the island of Trenyken, in Norway&#8217;s Outer Lofoten Islands, with <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/homer-3\/\">Homer<\/a>&#8216;s legendary Thrinacia. He also refers to the work of Iman Wilkens and <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/spanuth-dr-jurgen\/\">J\u00fcrgen Spanuth<\/a>. He also introduces the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/bock-saga\/\">Bock Saga<\/a> in support of his contention that <em>&#8220;that there must have been an advanced culture in the high north thousands of years ago.&#8221;<\/em><sup>(a)<\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Although the author touches on the subject of Atlantis in <em>The Homer Code <\/em>he expands more fully on it the following year in <em>Atlantis Unveiled<\/em><sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\"><sup>1076<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup><em>.<\/em> In it he again follows much of Vinci&#8217;s work as well as Spanuth&#8217;s identification of Helgoland as the location of Atlantis. He also uses Homer as well as copious extracts from <a href=\"#ApolloniusofRhodes\">Apollonius of Rhodes<\/a> to justify his identification of Northern Europe as the backdrop to both the <em>Odyssey <\/em>and Plato&#8217;s Atlantis narrative.<\/p>\n<p>Up to this point I found his work interesting, if not convincing.
