He outlines the parallels between Plato\u2019s story and the Minoan civilisation\u00a0of the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/aegean-sea\/\">Aegean<\/a>. He uses statistical analysis to demonstrate that Minoan Crete was closer to Plato\u2019s description of Atlantis than previously thought.<\/p>\n<p>Castleden\u2019s book discusses in detail the archaeology and geography of Minoan Crete\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/thera\/\">Thera<\/a> and how these relate to Atlantis.
