He is a retired maths professor and now lives in Pennsylvania. He <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/ragnartent.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-26892\" src=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/ragnartent-243x300.jpg\" alt=\"ragnartent\" width=\"243\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/ragnartent-243x300.jpg 243w, https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/ragnartent.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 243px) 100vw, 243px\" \/><\/a>has a passionate interest in the Scandinavian runes and writes under the <em>nom de plume <\/em>of \u2018Ragnar-Storyteller\u2019. Peterson has some rather odd ideas about combining the runes with Quantum Physics to produce a variety of effects including healing.<\/p>\n<p>Peterson has also studied ancient Scandinavian history with particular reference to pre-Columbian visits to the Americas, North and South. He also subscribes to Spanuth\u2019s suggestion that the \u2018Sea Peoples\u2019 who invaded Egypt in the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> millennium BC were from Scandinavia and should have been designated \u2018North Sea Peoples\u2019. Peterson seems to have adopted most of Spanuth\u2019s principal contentions \u2013 amber was Plato\u2019s orichalcum, Phaeton destroyed Atlantis leading to the migration of the Atlantean survivors, proto-Vikings, to migrate south invading Egypt. He also locates the capital, Basileia, off the Danish coast. He has written several blogs on this subject<sup>(a)(b)<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&gt;<\/span><\/strong><\/span>Some of his other unorthodox views are to be found in his 111th blog(c). One of which is the view that the Greeks got their alphabet from the Phoenicians, who in turn got theirs from the Frisians!
