Inevitably, he tackled Plato\u2019s story in a work simply entitled <em>A<\/em><em>tlantis<\/em><sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/b\/\"><sup>154<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> <em>.<\/em> He confidently places Atlantis in the centre of the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n<p>The book purports to provide a general overview of the subject. However, it is a poorly written offering that contains a number of errors,\u00a0\u00a0which might be the translator\u2019s fault. For example <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/young-forsyth-phyllis\/\">Phyllis Young Forsyth<\/a> was given a quick sex change and became Philip and then we have, a fictional character in <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/verne-jules-gabriel\/\">Jules Verne\u2019s<\/a> <em>J<\/em><em>ourney to the <\/em><em>C<\/em><em>entre of the <\/em><em>E<\/em><em>arth<strong>,<\/strong><\/em> transformed into a real person who believed that Iceland was the last remaining vestige of Atlantis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carlos F.
