One of his business ventures led to the formation of <em>General Electric<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Included in his output is <em>The Wonder Book of Volcanoes and Earthquakes<\/em><sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\">1280<\/a>]<\/sup><em>,\u00a0<\/em> that had a section on Atlantis, in which he found the idea of an Atlantic Atlantis quite credible along with the then popular idea that the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/azores\/\">Azores<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/canary-islands\/\">Canaries<\/a>, along with other islands further south, were the remains of Plato&#8217;s lost land.
