In his 1997 book, <em>The Keys to the Temple<\/em><sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/e-f\/\"><sup>285<\/sup><\/a><sup>], <\/sup>he briefly reviews the\u00a0\u00a0Atlantis question and is inclined to opt for an Atlantic location; probably along \u00a0the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. Furlong notes the coincidence of the beginning of \u2018henge\u2019 building in <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/britain\/\">Britain<\/a> with pyramid building in <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/egypt\/\">Egypt<\/a> and suggests a common source \u2013 Atlantis. He is convinced that a widespread catastrophe around 3100 BC, caused the demise of Atlantis<sup>(b)(c)<\/sup>. This date agrees with the views of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/steel-duncan\/\">Duncan Steel<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/niroma-timo\/\">Timo Nimora<\/a>.
