He was a 33<sup>rd<\/sup> degree mason and in 1934, founded the Philosophical Research Society. He lectured widely and was the author of over two hundred works on a variety of subjects such as Alchemy, Tarot, The Bible and <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/643\/\">Freemasonry<\/a>. In 1940, he produced a booklet<sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\"><sup>359<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">+<\/span><\/strong><\/sup> on Atlantis that is still in print today.
