He considered <a href=\"#France\">France<\/a> to be the kingdom of the \u2018chosen people\u2019!<\/p>\n<p>Postel, along with many of his contemporaries, considered that <a href=\"#America\">America<\/a> had been the home of Atlantis., which he noted on his\u00a01578 world map, <em>Polo aptata Nova Charta Universi<\/em>.
