Manson<\/strong> <strong>V<\/strong><strong>alentine <\/strong><strong>(1902-1994),<\/strong> together with divers Jacques Mayol, Harold Climo and Robert Angove, discovered the so-called <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/bimini-roadwall\/\">\u201cBimini Wall\u201d<\/a> in 1968. It appears that Valentine saw his discovery as a confirmation of <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/cayce-edgar\/\">Edgar Cayce\u2019s<\/a> Atlantis prediction. During earlier explorations off Gonova Island near the coast of Haiti, in 1966, he discovered \u2018sophisticated artefacts of possible Atlantean origin\u2019 in ten feet of water.<\/p>\n<p>It is worth noting that Lynn Picknett &amp; Clive Prnce have pointed out<sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/n-r\/\">0705<\/a>.61]<\/sup> that the Bimini Road was known to the local islanders for years and even offered to show it to its \u2018discoverers\u2019! If true, the date of the find could have been manipulated to coincide with Cayce&#8217;s &#8216;prognostication&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/steiger-brad\/\">Brad Steiger<\/a> records<sup>[<\/sup><a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/t-v\/\"><sup>129<\/sup><\/a><sup>]<\/sup> that Valentine expressed the view that Atlantis was technologically more advanced than we are today! If so I find it strange that although Athens defeated such a highly developed Atlantis, it did so without leaving any evidence of it being an equally advanced society!<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Valentine also collaborated with <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/berlitz-charles\/\">Charles Berlitz<\/a> in the writing of his best-seller, <em>T<\/em><em>he <\/em><em>B<\/em><em>ermuda <\/em><em>T<\/em><em>riangle <\/em>and its sequel <em>W<\/em><em>ithout a <\/em><em>T<\/em><em>race<\/em>. He was\u00a0a consultant on the production of a 1979 documentary also titled <em>T<\/em><em>he <\/em><em>B<\/em><em>ermuda <\/em><em>T<\/em><em>riangle<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Valentine died of complications following a bite from a venomous recluse spider.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>J.
