They are believed by theosophists to be encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the etheric plane. There are anecdotal accounts but there is no scientific evidence for the existence of the Akashic records.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&gt;&gt;<\/span><\/strong>The Skeptic&#8217;s Dictionary<\/em> offers a slightly different definition &#8211; \u00ad <em>&#8220;The akashic record is an imagined spiritual realm, supposedly holding a record of all events, actions, thoughts and feelings that have ever occurred or will ever occur.\u00a0 Theosophists believe that the akasha is an &#8216;astral light&#8217; containing occult records which spiritual beings can perceive by their special &#8216;astral senses&#8217; and &#8216;astral bodies&#8217;.
