He has written extensively on prehistoric underwater archaeology<sup>(a)<\/sup>. In 1985, he published a paper entitled <em>Ice Ages and Human Occupation of the Continental Shelf<\/em> <sup>(f)<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>Flemming has also investigated the subject of <a href=\"#SeaLevels\">sea-level changes<\/a> <sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/bibliography\/e-f\/\">1682<\/a>]<\/sup>, particularly in the Mediterranean<sup>(b)<\/sup>. A more localised study of sea-level changes around Malta during the\u00a0<a href=\"#Holocene\">Holocene<\/a> has been produced by an Italian team led by Stefan Furlani<sup>(c)<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>When <a href=\"#HancockG\">Graham Hancock<\/a> published <em>Underworld<\/em> <sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/h-j\/\">274<\/a>]<\/sup>\u00a0in 2002, it was followed by a TV programme,\u00a0<em>Flooded Kingdoms of the Ice Age,\u00a0<\/em>which was based on it. The latter evoked a highly critical review<sup>(e) <\/sup>by Flemming, who has written widely on maritime matters, including sea-level changes and sunken cities.
