It was considered by the 18<sup>th<\/sup> century Guatemalan writer,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/cabrera-paul-felix\/\">Paul Felix Cabrera<\/a><sup>(<\/sup><sup>b<\/sup><sup>)<\/sup>, as Atlantis<strong>,<\/strong> which he placed in <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/hispaniola-amended\/\">Hispaniola<\/a>. More recently <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/collins-andrew\/\">Andrew Collins<\/a><sup>(<\/sup><sup>a<\/sup><sup>)<\/sup> has suggested that Septimania was another name for Antilia, the Island of the Seven Cities, that he equates with <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/Cuba\">Cuba<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Septimania was also an ancient name given to part of Languedoc in France.
