{"id":59030,"date":"2023-05-23T07:59:54","date_gmt":"2023-05-23T06:59:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/?p=59030"},"modified":"2025-06-11T08:30:11","modified_gmt":"2025-06-11T07:30:11","slug":"caspary-nicholas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/caspary-nicholas\/","title":{"rendered":"Caspary, Nicholas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Nicholas <\/strong><strong>C<\/strong><strong>aspary <\/strong>published <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Platos-Atlantis-Religion-Nicholas-Caspary-ebook\/dp\/B0BYV8314D\/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=plato+atlantis&amp;qid=1684820812&amp;s=books&amp;sr=1-6\">Plato&#8217;s Atlantis: On the Origin of Religion<\/a> <\/em>in March 2023 <sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/main-bibliography\/c\/\">2060<\/a>]<\/sup>, which according to the author is <em>&#8220;intended <\/em><em>as an update, a sequel, or a reboot if you wish, of Ignatius Donnelly&#8217;s 1882 work, and will as such be restating many of the same pertinent arguments as well as adding to his information that from our modern day.&#8221; <\/em>For me, Donnelly&#8217;s ideas are now &#8216;old hat&#8217; with little to offer modern Atlantis research and beyond resuscitation..<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, Caspary spent the first half of his book reviewing Donnelly&#8217;s theories and then moved on to adding what he believes are more recent discoveries that support Donnelly. These include a change to the ice age cycle, the origin of our <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/moon-the-n\/\">Moon<\/a> as well as encounters with wandering extraterrestrial bodies.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Not content with a look at the evolutionary tree of humans, he then examines <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/ancient-astronauts-n\/\">ancient astronauts<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/crystals\/\">crystal skulls<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/atlantipedia.ie\/samples\/cayce-edgar-2\/\">Edgar Cayce<\/a>, Orion Correlation Theory, etc, etc. He ends with a section on quantum physics, about which I and, I&#8217;m sure, most of my readers know very little.
