Baudelot de Dairval, Charles César

Charles César Baudelot de Dairval (1648-1722) was a French lawyer turned archaeologist. One of his essays was on The War of the Athenians Against the People of the Island of Atlantis[1457], referred to in The Gentleman’s Magazine, Oct. 1831 p.328(a), in which he located Atlantis in the Atlantic(a) .
