Civilisation X is a term used by the American writer, Edward F. Malkowski, to describe a prehistoric ‘Greater Mediterranean civilisation’, exemplified by pre-dynastic Egypt.

His earlier Before the Pharoahs ^[657] is soon to be followed by Ancient Egypt 39,000 BCE. Although he refers to Atlantis^(a) he is somewhat ambivalent regarding its existence ^[657.284] .
