Carl Lundius (1638-1715) was a Swedish scholar and Professor of Law, who was initially highly regarded but later fell out of favour because of his romantic view of ancient Sweden including his support for the theories of his friend Olof Rudbeck^(a) , who advocated the idea that Atlantis had been situated in Sweden, and which was also the cradle of civilisation.
