Vladmir Scherbakov (1938-2004) was a Russian science writer and journalist who became an atlantologist in the late 1980’s. He supported the idea of the island homeland of Atlantis being located in the Atlantic with a second Atlantis founded by emigrants in the Eastern Mediterranean.
