Benik, Tony
Tony Benik is reported, on various websites without any giving any reference, to have discovered a huge pyramid with a pulsating crystal on top containing eleven rooms, 10,000 feet under the Atlantic. Such a discovery would have been the find of the millennium. However, apart from being a highly improbable discovery, absolutely no evidence has been forthcoming. The constant repeating of such unsubstantiated reports as this does great damage to the credibility of serious Atlantis research, but it is also a clear demonstration of how a real or perceived lie, repeated often enough, can become truth.
