Pintore, Gianfranco
Gianfranco Pintore (1939-2012) was well-known Sardinian journalist and a vocal promoter of the Sardinian language and culture. His nationalism may have coloured his belief that his native island had been the location of Atlantis. His website(a) hosted many articles supporting this contention. His
website was recently suspended but fortunately this has now (15/10/13) been reinstated.
