Benjamin.RadfordBenjamin Radford is typical of today’s Atlantis sceptics, who are happy to dismiss Plato’s story as a morality tale(a). I consider this rather glib, as it is so often overlooked that while the ‘bad’ Atlanteans were destroyed, the ‘good’ Athenians military were also dispatched. Not much of a reward for virtue! Over a century ago Radford would have been equally dismissive of Heinrich Schliemann’s search for Troy. But then, I suppose that Radford, like so many others, is only interested in generating column inches!
