Taiwan
Taiwan is the latest Atlantis candidate. He Xianrong, a professor of ancient Taiwanese civilization, believes Taiwan is Plato’s mythical ancient civilization of Atlantis, according to a recent report. However, an archaeologist, Liu Yichang has respectfully disputed his conclusions(a).
He first wrote of his theory in 2013(b).
