The Deluged Civilisation of the Caucasus Isthmus was written by the remarkable Reginald Fessenden and originally published in three parts between 1923 and 1933. This work is now available on the Internet(a)and is well worth a look, even though it is heavy going and many of the placenames used are somewhat dated.

Fessenden argues for a complete reappraisal of the geography of early Greek myths and its consequences for our understanding of Plato’s story of Atlantis.
