Bunsen, Christian
Christian Karl Josias von Bunsen (1791-1860) was a Prussian diplomat, in which capacity he was appointed as ambassador to the Holy See in Rome. He was also a co-founder of the German Archaeological Institute in Rome.
The only reference that I can find relating to Bunsen and Atlantis comes from Dean Harris in his Prehistoric Man in America –
“Christian Bunsen, whose vast erudition constitutes his authority reluctantly admits the narrative of Solon to be authentic and that possibly an Atlantis once existed.” [p.109]
